Consumer Protection to Give You Confidence to Book
|
Consumers should make sure that when booking through a third party such as a travel agent, the company you are dealing with is a member of the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF).
This fund is a State and Federal Government controlled consumer protection fund which means you can book with confidence that your money is safe.
For more information on the role and functions of the TCF, please click on the tab to your left.
|
ALL AFTA MEMBERS MUST BE MEMBERS OF THE TCF. If you book with an AFTA member, you can be sure your money is safe.

Travel Health and Insurance
|
If you are travelling overseas for business or pleasure, think about your health before you leave Australia.
The most common vaccine-preventable diseases, Hepatitis A and B, can spoil your trip and place friends and family at risk when you return. Vaccination for these diseases is available to ensure that you are protected before you leave home.
For more information click on the Travel Health section in the menu to your left or talk to your GP.
AFTA recommends that you consider travel insurance for all travel plans. More details can be found in the Travel Insurance section in the menu to your left.
